An idea found in a moment of joy with family and friends

A couple of years ago I was lucky enough to visit my sister who lives in Queenstown,  New Zealand. The craft drinks scene just felt different over there – more adventurous, more considered. We spent many sun-drenched evenings on Lake Wakatipu enjoying craft ales and vodka sodas – making incredible memories with my family and my sister’s friends that I treasure today.

When I was back in the UK I realised I couldn’t find anything that felt special enough but light enough to enjoy all afternoon or evening. Where were the exciting and  ‘grown up’ flavours?

That’s why I created MELLEAU.

I wanted to create a drink that offered exciting and interesting flavours, that was light and refreshing, and that felt a little more special.

I love it, so does my other half, and so do my friends, and their other halves.
